Our Home and School Association is a hard working group of parent and staff volunteers who meet once a month to plan events, raise funds and support students of Spring Street Academy. The purpose of the Home and School Association (HSA) is to coordinate fundraising efforts to benefit our students and school. It provides funding for extra activities not covered by school fees. Every parent is considered a general member of the Home & School Association. Executive Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Being a member of Home and School provides an opportunity to meet other parents, to give input, be supportive of your school and be a role model for your children. You will be the first to receive updates on school events.
Home & School hosts a number of exciting fundraising events each year. In the past, they have included movie nights, a school-wide turkey dinner, a student Christmas bazaar, an online auction and a Spring Fling. All members must have a CCRCE approved volunteer package completed. This includes a criminal records check and Child Abuse Registry clearance.
Meetings are held monthly. They are held consecutively with our School Advisory Council meetings though with different agendas and reports.
