Spring Street Academy is a great place to teach and learn! Our team is committed to providing high quality learning experiences focused on the individual needs of each child. We strive to ensure that students' learning needs are balanced with their social and emotional well-being and sense of belonging.
Though it fluctuates, our school population usually sits around 400 students from the Amherst area. We are also pleased to be the only P-4 French Immersion school in the Chignecto Family within the CCRCE. French Immersion students finish out grades five and six at Cumberland North Academy.
We are a proud of our ever-growing cultural diversity and continue to place a significant importance on providing culturally responsive learning experiences for all students. We are unconditionally committed to providing students with the best possible school experience, believing that there are numerous opportunities, both in and outside of the classroom, for our students to gain the necessary skills to be happy and successful as they prepare to move to junior high.
We are excited for the potential in this coming year. Among all of our school stakeholders, I encourage positivity and open communication. Our goal is that Spring Street Academy is an inclusive and welcoming environment to ALL who enter its doors. Let’s make 2023-24 the best yet.
